Tips for getting Organised with your Blog

Creating a successful and engaging blog takes time, effort and even a little money. However, if it’s a big goal of yours, all the effort will soon be worth it.
But of course, starting off the whole process is a little daunting to say the least. Or, if you have started your blog already but think it’s in need of some major improvements, you may find that you just need to get a little more organised with it. Here are some tips to help you do just that, so you can take the strain and hassle out of blogging, and put the fun back in!
Make it beautiful
Details matter! It’s important your blog is visually appealing, as your design will be the first point of contact with visitors. Having so many attractive templates on budget out there, you need to ensure you get the right web design since inception. Keep as is, and add this sentence at the end: Read up on the latest web design trends to see what's popular and what would be the most effective design for you.
Upgrade the page titles and topics
Your blog will need to show a clear subject matter to your visitors early on – they’ll need to be able to identify what it’s about after just a few seconds on your homepage. You can show this by an introductory paragraph on the homepage and by your page titles. If you struggle to write your posts, your page titles might be a contributing factor. Give them a rethink to give yourself the best chance of writing the best posts that are interesting and relevant to you.
Make use of an editorial calendar
Online editorial calendars like the likes of Coschedule are great because they do all the hard work for you in terms of posting your articles when you want them to be posted, which is great for getting organised ahead of time and for you to visually see when your posts will go live.
Remove any ‘clutter’ from your blog
When getting organised in your home, you’ll know doubt start out by getting rid of everything you don’t need. The same applies to blogging – remove those badges and banners that are no longer serving a purpose to you and your blog and are instead just making it look cluttered. Remove large images too that are slowing down your blog, as this can be frustrating to your visitors as well as you.
Connect your social media pages to your blog
This is just one of the ways in which you can share your posts more quickly on your social media pages, which will save you lots of time and effort. This is great for growing your blog too. The more times your posts are shared, the more people will read it which will mean your blog will soon be a roaring success.
Create an email specifically for your blog

Creating a new email especially for your blog is a really good idea for getting organised with any correspondence you will have that concerns your blog, or for anything you download or sign up to that is also to do with your site. Google Mail is a really popular choice and a good one too, as you can link your existing Google accounts to it too, and you can also create a Google Plus to link your posts too as well which is more shares again for your blog!
