New Ragu Sauces with meat {review}

Pasta has to be one of the most popular meals in this house. The most favourite being with a simple sauce, or even baked beans and a spoonful of red pesto. I usually cook my sauces from scratch so when I'm in a hurry a can of tomatoes and a few herbs suffices as a sauce.

When I was sent some new Ragu sauces with meat I wasn't sure how they would be received as everyone is used to the home cooked flavour. I needn't have been worried though as Hanna was totally fooled into believing that I'd made the sausage sauce from scratch, until she saw the jars. It went down so well that everyone asked for seconds.

The jars of sauce with meat are available in 3 varieties :

  • Bolognese sauce with meatballs
  • Bolognese sauce with minced pork and beef
  • Italian sausage and spinach

The RRP for the jars is £2.99 making it a great value meal, served with a 50p bag of pasta there is enough for 4-5 servings.

I was sent a hamper of goodies including jars of Ragu for the purpose of this review
