What I particularly like about the Messy Me range is the colour and design of the oil cloth. They blend in with neutral decor, and you can transform a highchair with one of the covers, as well as co-ordinating it with your table covering.
We're out of the high chair and bib stage now but I've been looking for an oil cloth table covering recently as our dining table was getting ruined with all the homework, crafts & eating being done on it, but I just hadn't found a colour or design that really struck me. When Messy Me offered to send me a product to review I chose some of their oil cloth by the metre big enough to cover our table.
The olive grey is a lovely colour that blends in well with our kitchen/conservatory and makes a great backdrop for photographing food!
I'm in love with my new table cover - I no longer have to worry about spilt milk soaking into my solid wood table, or playdough being ground into the grains of the wood. I was upset yesterday though when the pollen dropped from my lilies onto the table leaving a faint yellow stain when I wiped it off (it also stained my stainless steel sink), but I'm hoping it will fade over time. Every day foods and liquids usually wipe straight off however you do need to be careful with strong coloured foods such as carrot, blueberries, felt tip pens etc.
