Trunki SnooziHedz Review

We love Trunki products in this house. So far we have Freddie the Fire Engine suitcase, some Trunki Toyboxes and more recently a Boostapak booster seat for holidays. When Trunki contacted me to ask if I would like to review a SnooziHedz I jumped at the chance as Jack likes to have a neck pillow and blanket on car journeys.

The SnooziHedz is a 3 in 1 travel pal, pillow and blanket. The blanket is conveniently stored inside the pillow until it's needed. There is an inflatable insert to fill the pillow out when the blanket isn't inside it, a couple of puffs and it's inflated. It has an indentation in the middle to make it comfortable for little one's heads. The blanket can be laid across your child and then fastened in place by the 'Trunki Grip'...similar to that of a tea-towel holder. There is one on the blanket and another on the pillow enabling the blanket to stay in place and keep your little one warm and cosy. As the pillow is attached to the blanket it meant that when Jack leant forward he didn't lose his pillow down his back, which could become a little frustrating on a car journey. There is also a handy pocket on the front of the blanket big enough for a cuddly toy.

Jack's SnooziHedz conveniently arrived on the same day as his new car seat so it wasn't necessary to go out in the wind and rain to try it out in the car.

The front of the pillow is a really soft fleece but unfortunately the other side and ears is made of fabric that I really don't like - the sort that catches on your skin if you have a rough bit. The pocket on the blanket is made from the same kind of fabric but the rest of it is a soft fleece. The whole lot (apart from the pillow insert) can be washed at 30 degrees, but not tumble dried, however it's the kind of fleece that would be almost dry straight out of the washing machine.

The SnooziHedz comes in a range of colours - blue, pink, green Dudley the Dinosaur, orange Milo the Monkey, black Pippa the Penguin, and yellow Leeroy the Lion. All are priced at £19.95, which I think is quite expensive for a blanket but it is a very handy travel accessory and perfect for car journey's and holidays, as well as for curling up to watch TV.
