10 Questions

I have been tagged by Wendy in 10 questions, a way that bloggers can get to know each other a little better.

The rules of the game are:

1) Answer the 10 questions
2) Tag someone to do the same
3) Come back to my original blog post and comment that you have done so in order for us to find out who has been tagged and therefore find out more about our fellow bloggers!

So here goes!

1: Describe yourself in seven words:
Busy Mum that enjoys wine and food.

2: What keeps you awake at night?
Husband's snoring usually, and then once I'm awake I'm always thinking about the things on my everlasting to-do list and which I will do next, cakes that need making, blog posts that need writing, bills that need paying, orders that need placing (for my business)...it's endless, but sometimes it's thinking about all these things that finally gets me back to sleep - like counting sheep!

3: If you could be anyone for a day who would you be and why?
A lady of leisure - it would be nice for just one day to not have any cares in the world, to not have to make the sandwich boxes up, do the school runs, do the washing, make the dinner, look after 3 kids, pay the bills, run a business or deal with difficult customers. I'm sure I would become bored after a few days but for one day I really would like to be A Lady Of Leisure.

4:  What are you wearing now?
Jeans and a long blue top along with non-matching pants & bra, but it is all clean and I have showered today...go me!

5:  What scares you?
Something bad happening to one of my children and not being able to do anything about it. I always fear that someone will 'steal' one of my children, especially when my husband takes them out as he is somewhat more laid back than me!

6:  What is the best and the worst thing about blogging?
The best thing by far has to be all the lovely fellow bloggers that I've met, both online & in the real world. I've met some great people who I hope will continue to be friends for many years to come.
The worst thing has to be the amount of bullying that I come across. I've not been subjected to this directly nor do I jump on the bandwagon & get involved in it myself, I'm too old for all that & have more important things to be worrying about. I do see people on Twitter chatting openly about others and although they don't mention any names it is quite obvious at times which person, or group of people, they're talking about. Some bloggers get on their high horse about things that (in my personal opinion) they should just let go and not get so uptight about......I sometimes feel like telling them to just chill and concentrate on the important things in life (but I won't as that would like be throwing myself to the wolves!).

7:  What was the last website you looked at?
Apart from AOL, my blog,my Ebay shop,Twitter, Facebook, my Website which are all the usual tabs open, and theslanket.com (see Q.9) it was www.sacredheartdietinfo.com, a lose weight quick diet as I've just realised it's only 7 weeks until Christmas...eeek!

8:  If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I would be taller, slimmer, younger......oh, one thing? hmmm then it would have to be my arms (do they count as one thing?) - I would love to have slim arms & be able to wear lovely dresses & tops in the Summer.

9:  Slankets Yes or No!?
Hmmm, I had not really given this much thought until Wendy mentioned that she has one & then I googled them......I'm thinking it would be perfect for my husband who regularly falls asleep on the sofa watching TV but I'm not sure they're for me....I would definitely end up tripping it over it & doing myself an injury.

10: Tell us something about the person who tagged you?
Wendy is so tall that I feel like a midget when I'm with her, she is also lovely, energetic, a great Mum & has the ability to make a 2.5 hour car journey pass by in a flash.....oh and she snores like a roaring Lion!

Now I tag Mummy Mishaps, Mummy and The Beastie and The Boy and Me.
