Freya Design Keepsake Boxes

Freya Design wooden boxes are designed by Marie Ekerholm who takes inspiration from her native country Sweden, where simplicity, functionality and style are the essence of Scandinavian design.

The gorgeous boxes are all made from solid wood that is lightweight and robust and only sourced from countries that have strict regulations regarding sustainability. The boxes range from small trinket boxes up to large 3 compartment keepsake boxes. Each can be personalised with an engraved wooden plaque.

The boxes are excellent quality and arrive in bubble wrap and a presentation box to protect them in transit. I was sent a small butterfly trinket box so I could see the quality for myself. The painted wood is finished with a smooth matt finish and the designs are finished off beautifully with touches of glitter and gems here and there, The wood is unpainted on the inside but is lovely and smooth with no rough edges. There is a magnetic closure on the box ensuring that the lid snaps shut.

I love keepsake boxes and these are no exception, I'm now not sure whether to keep it for myself or let Hanna clutter it up keep her trinkets inside. These would make perfect gifts if you are looking for something a little bit special.

Freya Design products range from £15 for a door plaque up to £63 for a wedding box. For that extra special gift they sell Tailor Made boxes from £195. These gorgeous boxes are hand-painted  by a well established artist for any occasion.
