It's a Waiting Game

Yesterday I was thrilled and shocked to hear that I had made it onto the Toys R Us Toyologists shortlist. After hearing on Twitter that the wonderful The Boy and Me had made it onto the list I thought I would have a quick browse to see if I recognised any of the other names on the list of 25. I was gobsmacked when I saw my name 9th from the top and to be honest I still can't quite believe that out of the hundreds of reviews that Toys R Us received they picked mine.



Late last night, amid a lot of Twitter banter between some of the other great bloggers that are also shortlisted, an email was received entitled "Toyologists 2011 Short list questionnaire!". I wasn't sure whether to leave it until today to complete or just go ahead and do it, but being the impatient soul that I am I went ahead with it, and over an hour later it was done and I was exhausted!


So now it is just a waiting game. All questionnaires need to be completed by midnight on Friday 13th May (unlucky for some?) and the 10 Toyologists will be announced at 12.00 on Monday.


I would be thrilled and honoured to be chosen to be a Toyologist (and the kids would too - think of all those lovely Toys!) but if I don't get chosen I will still feel proud that I have made it this far.
