It was taken on Good Friday 2009 when Jack received his first ever Creme Egg at just 2.5 weeks old. We were on holiday in Devon and the staff gave all the children a creme egg when we checked in. Of course, being such a good Mummy I ate it for him so I could tell him how good it was. We went the following year and again received Creme Eggs, this time I had to share Jacks with him but I'm guessing that I won't get a look in this year.
And I couldn't resist posting this photo from the same holiday, and no doubt Jack will be joining Daddy, Uncle & big brother this year in a spot of bad dad dancing......

How very lovely! ;) Thanks so much for taking the time to post a picture even when you're en route to your holiday. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Easter! ;)

Great Flashback, have a great time away - we're off next Friday to Cornwall and it can't come soon enough. Have fun and buy yourself a Creme Egg xx
ReplyDeleteIt was very kind of you to eat his egg for him, we're also past that stage now but I usually try some of my boy's chocolate to make sure it's 'ok' for him ;)
ReplyDeleteJack looks so sweet holding his little egg :)
ReplyDeleteI am doing this for Mads too, I always eat chocolate on her behalf as she gets it through my milk! ;)
ReplyDeleteBad dad dancing. Brilliant!! x
ReplyDelete@Mrs EIs that how you make chocolate milk?
ReplyDeleteHe may not have been able to eat it that first year, but he certainly held onto it tightly enough didn't he?
