Flashback Friday - 2001

Another disorganised week and another last minute Flashback Friday post.

Having been up for a good part of last night with my eldest suffering from earache got me thinking about the first time that he was ill. He was born in November 2000 whilst we were living in the US. We returned to the UK for his first Christmas when he was 6 weeks old, where he picked up his first cold, which, when we had returned back home, went to his chest and led to him being admitted to hospital.

We ended up having a nebuliser at home to administer his medication which wasn't easy at first, but Sam being the easy-going laid back baby that he was soon got used to it. We would turn his bouncy chair onto vibrate and that, along with the hum of the nebuliser, would send him to sleep in no time.

Why don't you join Cafe Bebe & the rest of us reminiscing & having a laugh or cry over old snaps.

Hope his earache clears up soon too.

  7. Oh poor little man, he looks so very tiny there. Having had a poorly little baby boy I know the anxiety that would have accompanied that time.

  8. I'm always last minute as well!
Shame that cold went to his chest, it's always frightening at that age isn't it. I think it's easier to use a nebuliser at that age than it is on toddlers - my two won't have it at all
